Tenant Arrears Management
About the service:
Money Angels have teamed up with EuroDebt Financial Services to provide a tailored Debt Management service specifically for the rented property sector.
The Money Angels debt management solution for tenants is a service provided by EuroDebt Financial Services. The Tenant Debt Management service enables tenants who are in arrears to prioritise their outgoings in order to ensure that their rental payments are made, along with any arrears to an agreed repayment plan. Arrangements and allowances are also made with all other creditors to ensure that the tenant is able to control their outgoings in proportion to their income with the long term goal of the tenant becoming debt free or able to resume contractual payments.
This service does not cost you or your landlords as it is the tenant taking out the Debt Management Plan who pays for the service. You receive arrears payments in the first month of the plan. Fees are taken from monthly payments made by the tenant. In some instances an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) may be more appropriate.
This is a confidential service and is not a loan.

What it means to you:
For cases where your tenants are going into arrears, you now have a way of retaining the monthly rental payments without the costly need for court proceedings and eviction. Properties remain rented instead of empty which means no unpaid void/ empty periods.
Rent arrears are paid back by the tenant without having to chase through the courts or via debt collection agencies.
You can earn a percentage of the initial Instruction Fee when the Debt Management Plan or IVA is set-up. Commissions are detailed in the latest commission schedule.
