The Money Angels lettings service evolved from within a Letting Agency business in May 2006 which is why the bespoke services are designed with lettings in mind.
Director Lewis Taylor, formerly a Letting Agent, identified that energy and utilities were a constant drain on administration staff and set about trying to solve the issue. There were numerous difficulties with energy in particular which required many hours spent per week contacting suppliers and tenants regarding queries including billing issues, pre payment meters and supply problems.
Firstly turning to the internet to learn of any solutions available, there were some companies out there where you could switch suppliers although there didn't seem to be a full solution in terms of a full management service. This is when the energy management service was first born. With assistance from Billscutter and Energylinx, the largest impartial UK energy call centre and the largest energy price comparison company in the world respectively, the energy management product was tested on a current selction of tenants, both new and existing, within the letting agency. Although Lewis is now full time Director of Money Angels UK Ltd, this letting agent is still a client of Money Angels.
After several months testing within the letting agency, it was clear that the energy management product was an ideal solution for the letting agency business and the tenants. This win win situation for all was greatly received by the admin staff as the workload eased giving more time for marketing and the tenants were pleased to always be paying the lowest rates for energy.
Money Angels was started in January 2007 and very soon new clients were learning the value of our services.
After a year of successful trading, Money Angels UK Ltd, Billscutter Ltd and Energylinx ltd are now working even more closely to provide even more solutions into letting agents and property management companies including energy, utilities, commercial energy & telecoms, broadband, telecoms, letting software, insurances for tenants & landlords, mortgages & loans and gas safety certificates.
